Brief

PhenoLAB is an online web-based analysis portal and database for wine producers. Our brief was to establish the brand by creating their online platform, that would connect the brand with its audience. The brand required a functional online space that would enable them to conduct analyses of tannins, colour density and phenolic levels of grapes. The site would serve as the brand home and first port of call for the target audience.

The Plan

To create a platform that would facilitate a connection between users and the database. We sought to design a website that would fulfil several functions, including member registration, content management, file sharing, user management and data submission. The dashboard was designed to allow users to obtain their phenolic analyses, make informed decisions and to conduct comparisons with other wines.

Outcome

This project was rewarding and stimulating. The website established an online presence for the brand and sparked an interest in wine producers. It also facilitates decision making and data retrieval for users and gives them a better understanding of how their wines compare with others. Feedback of the website was positive and the overall engagement increased steadily after its inception.
