Away Resorts is a UK holiday park operator, with over 20 parks across the country including Scotland, Lincolnshire, Isle of Wight, North Wales, Hampshire & Dorset, Cornwall, Hayling Island & Essex.

The brief

To help improve the UX/UI design of an existing group of Away Resorts websites with a view to increase conversion. The group comprised of 4 websites which each had different individual brands. The task was to standardise these brands so that they represent the group better while still highlighting individual USPs.

The project overview

Sitemap & Content Refinement: Developed a streamlined sitemap emphasising product pages and unique selling propositions (USPs). Enhanced information hierarchy to improve user experience.

Environment Setup & Theme Customisation: Installed and customised design templates and component blocks to align with each site’s style and content.

Website Build & Integration: Rebuilt all pages with the approved theme, integrated updated content, and added new pages, including a lead generation landing page.

User Experience Optimisation: Delivered a more intuitive and visually appealing site to drive better engagement and conversions.
